Good news for all InDesigners: with the version 1.1 update to our 4ALLPORTAL InDesign plugin, you can now work in Adobe Creative Cloud 2018. To do this, simply upgrade to the 4ALLPORTAL MAM 2.12.8, 2.13.4 and 2.14.1 releases, download and install the plugin from the download portal, and enjoy!
Adobe published its new Creative Cloud 2018 in October 2017. This didn’t go unnoticed and we responded quickly by updating our new InDesign plugin, which now boasts a range of new features including compatibility with InDesign 2018. To use the new plugin, you must first upgrade to MAM releases 2.12.8, 2.13.4 and 2.14.1 to be able to select the plugin in the download portal.
Two additional highlights of our InDesign plugin version 1.1 include the support of directory services like Microsoft Active Directory and the IDML exchange format. First, this makes your work easier, because support for the LDAP standard allows you to log into the plugin with ease using your active directory access data. Second, by integrating InDesign’s .idml exchange format, you can also keep an overview in the MAM and work with documents from different versions of the InDesign software. The analysis and computation of documents in the 4ALLPORTAL MAM now works just as easily as the generation of previews containing information on linked assets.
